Andy Turner narrowly misses out on another medal

Britain's Andy Turner finished fourth in the final of the 60m hurdles at the European Indoor Championships.

Turner, the European outdoor 110m hurdles bronze medallist, hit a couple of hurdles and clocked 7.67 seconds. Fellow Brit Allan Scott was sixth.

The Dutch pair of Gregory Sedoc (7.63) and Marcel van der Westen (7.64) took gold and silver while Spain's Jackson Quinonez (7.65) took bronze.

"I messed up royally," said Turner, "I'm devastated, all I had to do was run a half-decent race and I would have won a medal.

"I didn't get out of the blocks well, clipped a couple of hurdles and I messed it up."
