On Monday 17th October, we’ll see Britain’s Olympic and Paralympic Athletes take to the Streets of Manchester for the Olympic and Paralympic Homecoming Parade. Nuff Respect clients Libby Clegg, Sam Ruddock and Harriet Lee will be attending whilst Iwan Thomas will be presenting at the event for Channel 4 alongside Lee McKenzie and Jon Snow.

Our Paralympians had a hugely successful time in Rio. Libby Clegg came home with two Gold medals in the T11 category, over  100m where she set a new World Record of 11.91s as well as the 200m where she set a new Paralympic Record of 24.51s Harriet Lee won a Silver Medal in the pool in the SB9 100m, and Sam Ruddock finished 6th in the F35 Shot Put.

More than 200,000 spectators are expected to attend the Homecoming Parade which will start outside Manchester’s Museum of Science and Industry and finishes with a civic reception outside the town hall in Albert Square.
