Nigel Levine puts on one of the performances of the British Championships to secure place at World Championships

Nigel Levine ran a seasons best 45.23s in the final of the 400m at the Sainsbury’s British Championships to secure his place on the plane to Moscow. In what was one of the performances of the Championships, Nigel managed to run the A qualifying standard, which guarantees him a place at the World Championships in August. Nigel came ahead of his team mates Conrad Williams in 2nd, Luke Lennon-Ford in 4th & Richard Strachan in 6th.

 

It was also a good weekend for 200m specialist Margaret Adeoye. Stepping up to the 400m, she ran a superb lap of the track improving her PB to 51.93s. Gianni Frankis & James Brewer were also in fine form coming 2nd in the 110m Hurdles and 1500m respectively. Away from the track, Nathan Douglas put in another solid performance jumping 16.74m to come 2nd in the men’s Triple Jump.
