Greg Cackett produced a stellar performance at the Vienna Indoor Classic on 28th January in the 60m, to win gold in a time of 6.68s. He came home comfortably ahead of Czech athlete Jan Veleba, who was second in 6.72s. Greg was happy with the performance saying ‘the event is a great way to open up the indoor season. I thought I put on a solid display and am looking forward to competing again this weekend.’ Greg has been looking good throughout the winter and his hard work in training has certainly paid off. Next up for him is d’Athlétisme in Mondeville, France, where he will be competing against the likes of Jimmy Vicaut and Christophe Lemaitre and will want to put a statement down ahead of the U.K. Indoor Championships.
