Great Britain’s Libby Clegg claims double Grosseto Grand Prix win

Libby Clegg stormed clear of the field to win the 200m and 100m T12 at the IPC Grand Prix in Grosseto.

The Commonwealth 100m champion, 25, who is visually impaired and runs with a guide, won with a time of 26.58 seconds. Libby also ran in the 100m, winning in a season’s best time of 12.76

Elsewhere various other GB athletes were in action over the weekend.

Margaret Adeoye ran her first 400m of the season in Poland, running 52.94 earning her 4th place.

Richard Kilty and James Ellington ran in the 200m at the IAAF Diamond League in Oslo. Richard finished an impressive 3rd running a season’s best of 20.54. James finished in 6th place with a time of 20.90.

Luke Lennon-Ford and Conrad Williams both took part in the South of England AA Senior Championships at Lee Valley. Luke finished first in his 400m heat with a time of 47.97 however then had to pull out the competition. Conrad competed in the 200m, finishing 3rd in the final with a time of 21.25.
