Glasgow Indoor International produces some good displays from Team GB & Team Scotland

With just six months to go until the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Saturday’s Sainsbury’s International Match was a chance for team GB & Team Scotland athletes to impress and show the fruits of their winter training.

Team GB’s 4x400m relay team produced an outstanding result to beat USA, the Bahamas and Scotland in a time of 3:06.27. The team consisting of Luke Lennon-Ford, Conrad Williams, Nigel Levine and Richard Buck helped to secure GB’s second-place spot in the team standings.

In the men’s individual 400m Britain’s Nigel Levine produced a solid run, finishing 2nd to Chris Brown from the Bahamas in a time of 46.31s.

One of the outstanding performers of the day was Team Scotland’s Libby Clegg in the women’s T11/12/13 60m. Libby was a comfortable winner in a personal best time of 7.97s controlling the race from start to finish.
