Darren Campbell took part in a charity football match which saw nearly £30,000 raised for Cystic Fibrosis. It took place at Stamford Bridge with a number of celebrities taking part for the Cystic Fibrosis team including Gus Poyet, Dalton Grant and Angus Deaton. They were up against a MP XI in what proved to be a very close encounter.

Darren got the Cystic Fibrosis XI off to a great start with an early goal and at half time they had a 2-0 lead. Early in the second half they grabbed another goal and looked like they were cruising. However, the MP’s made a few changes and managed to pull the score back to 3-3. The Cystic Fibrosis XI took charge again scoring two goals to go 5-3 up. The final score ended 6-4 in what was a very exciting match.
