Christian Malcolm Prepares for his Final Race in Wales

Christian Malcolm will be running in his final races in Wales at the Welsh Athletics International in Cardiff on Tuesday the 15th of July. The 35-year-old runner will compete for the last time after a nearly 20 year career in the sport at the International next week.

Malcolm burst onto the global scene by winning 100m and 200m gold at the World Junior Championships in 1998 and went on to win a European Championships silver medal, Commonwealth silver and bronze medals and two World Championships bronze medals.

The Welsh Athletics International brings together Wales’ brightest stars to compete against athletes from countries such as Belize, Australia, Greece, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal, Romania, and the USA.
