Celebs ran for kids in Battersea

Sprint gold medallist Linford Christie, TV presenter Vernon Kay, and Eastenders actor Neil McDermott were among the runners at Battersea Park at the weekend raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The 5k Race for the Kids, sponsored by the Royal Bank of Canada, took place in Battersea Park on Sunday morning.

Money raised from the event will help fund the essential redevelopment of Great Ormond Street Hospital and make a difference to the thousands of sick children who are treated there every year.
