A recent hit of ITV’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, the Kombat Breakers were formed in the summer of 1999. The crew of 7 breakdancers and entertainers mix breakdance and street into an explosive fusion of irresistibly eye catching entertainment.

Born and bred in Coventry, the group mix different styles with crowd participation to keep their audiences entertained. It started as a hobby and soon became a passion as they started to do roadshows and perform in schools.

The boys shot to stardom earlier this year on the hit ITV prime time show ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ where they eventually finished runners-up in the nationwide search for the country’s hottest new act. The show saw them receive rave reviews from the judges, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan and these were matched by huge support from the public nationwide.

Since the show the Kombat Breakers have continued to receive a spectacular response from all over the country resulting in appearances at both the Labour and Conservative Party Conferences, The Sun Newspaper, The Advertising Producers Association Awards, the Crimestoppers campaign, the Anti-bullying organisation, Coventry City FC, the NSPCC awards ceremony, the UK Schools’ Games and Street Athletics, where they were personally requested by Linford Christie to perform at his event. They also appeared on television again in November where they featured on Blue Peter.

Recently at the Urban Music Awards they performed alongside some of the biggest names in show business, in front of an estimated 15 million worldwide audience. They are also currently touring Europe with fitness company Precor, performing in Holland, Germany and Belgium, as part of the launch of their newest product.

With a host of performances lined up the boys continue to dedicate their time to training, working on new routines daily. The group are also in the process of recording a number of music tracks, utilising the expertise of The Kray Twinz to record an album bringing a new dimension to their performances.
