Gianni Frankis is one of the UK’s most exciting emerging talents on the track. Coached by former Olympian Tony Jarrett, who he cites as his biggest influence on his career, Gianni really is one to watch.
Proving himself as a championship performer, Gianni claimed a silver medal at the 2009 European U23 Championships over 110mh. Having played semi professional football as a teenager Gianni’s true love always lay with Athletics and he has his sights firmly set on 2012.
Gianni’s journey to 2012 is being featured by Sky Sports as part of their series ‘Road to London’. The features will follow his highs and lows of training as well as other key landmarks in his preparations for when the Olympic Games come to his doorstep!
