David Haye is undoubtedly one of the most exciting sporting talents Britain has ever seen. With a career boasting results of 26 fights, 25 wins – 23 by KO, David Haye has established himself as one of Britain’s most successful Boxers in history.

Based in Bermondsey, London, Haye turned to professional boxing in 2002, knocking out Tony Booth in two rounds. Haye went on to dominate the Cruiserweight division becoming Unified Champion holding the WBA, WBC, WBO and The Ring magazine Cruiserweight titles. Throughout this weight domination, Haye defeated the then ranked number 1, Jean-Mark Mormeck, and Enzo Macranelli, both by KO, establishing himself as a genuine world class fighter.

Haye described the victory over Enzo Macranelli as “the final piece” in his cruiserweight jigsaw, with the focus of becoming World Heavyweight Champion now his aim.

In 2008, Haye fought Monte Barrett, defeating him in the 5th round after knocking him down in the 3rd. This then led to a Heavyweight Title challenge in November 2009, fighting Nickolay Valuev for the WBA belt. Tactically outclassing Valuev, Haye defeated the 7ft fighter on points, coming close to a knock out in the final round.

Since becoming champion, Haye has successfully defended his belt twice, against former heavyweight champion John Ruiz, and more recently in the demolition of Audley Harrison.

2011 proves to be an exciting year for Haye with the prospect of fighting the Klitschko brothers and the dream of becoming undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World.
